Guarantee of results
If you are not satisfied with the model produced by EasyModel you can declare that it is incorrect and, describing the details of the problem encountered, the amount of D₵ used will be immediately re-credited to you. The result will be studied by our experts who will try to correct the problem as soon as possible.
Pricing questions
Our software is billed per use on a D₵ (pronounced Dental Coin) by creating an arch. These D₵ can be purchased in packs, and the price is reduced from €1.95 ex-VAT to €1.45 ex-VAT. In any case, this price is extremely advantageous when compared with the cost of purchasing software and, above all, the cost of labor saved.
This rate is valid for flexible use according to your workload and organization.

Automatic 3D modeling for Orthodontics
FAQ
1°) EasyModel performance and features:
EasyModel creates all types of orthodontic models: working models, study models, models for fixed retention wires and splints, and soon, trimmed models for braces. We strive to continue developing new features to meet our customers’ needs, and more model types will be available in the coming months. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the types of models available on EasyModel.
EasyModel can produce all the main models used in orthodontics, and the list of models will continue to grow.
Once the prosthetist has chosen the model to be produced and defined the parameters, the 3D model is produced from the raw scan fully automatically.
The tasks carried out by EasyModel depend on the type of model to be produced and the parameters supplied when the treatment is launched, but in general they are all the preparatory tasks carried out by the dental technician in his dental CAD software when he receives a scan. In particular, we find the following actions:
-
- Artifacts removal such as pieces of cheek, tongue or finger from the scan manipulator.
- Filling in missing parts of the impression
- Remove the palate, as required.
- Cutting out the gum with a height adapted to the desired model.
- Cuting to retain only the teeth required for the desired model.
- Straightening the occlusal plane so that it is perfectly horizontal.
- Filling the support according to the provided parameter (full, hollow, honeycomb).
- Adding a base plate if requested
- Alignment of the plane according to the model on the horizontal, vertical, or profile axis (X, Y, or Z) as per the provided parameter.
- Height adjustment
- Reconstructing a false palate and lingual floor
- Engraving the model with the provided text
- Trimming the contours of certain teeth to attach molar bands
New features will soon be added to EasyModel :
- Remove brackets
- Models for whitening trays
- Drafts, undercuts, and interdental spaces
- Generating attachment points for articulation brackets
You can find the details of these tasks and the processing parameters on the EasyModel task description page.
In addition to the choice of the target model type, the parameters are:
-
- Type of cut (study model, working model, splint and fixed retention wire model)
- Type of support (full, hollow or honeycomb)
- Model height
- Model alignment axis for printing: horizontal, vertical or profile (X, Y or Z).
- Engraving (height, depth and text)
The accuracy of digital models depends on the quality of the scans supplied. We use advanced algorithms to process the scan data and create a digital impression that is not degraded from the original scan.
Before launching a treatment, the tool checks the quality of the scans provided as input. If the scans are incomplete or not accurate enough, an error is generated, no processing is done and your DC$ credit will not be affected.
Once the scan has been downloaded, it takes about a minute to create a model. Note that the treatments are parallelized and therefore the realization of a model or any number of models simultaneously will take the same time. If you have a batch of templates to make, we advise you to download all the scans, to set up the templates to make and then to launch the batch which will be processed in less than a minute.
EasyModel is working on compatibility with the main articulation supports on the market. Register on the site and we’ll let you know when supports become available.
Of course. EasyModel produces files in STL, PLY or OBJ formats. Once you have retrieved the model from your CAD software, you can modify it as if you had made it manually. Don’t forget, if you detect a major problem in a model, you just have to declare it as an error and describe the problem to be re-credited with the corresponding DC$.
2°) Compatibility of the tool:
Yes, our tool is compatible with all models of wired or wireless intraoral scanners, provided they can deliver scans in STL or PLY format. In particular you can use the most used scans in France like :
-
- Trios 3 or Trios 4 – 3Shape,
- Dental Wings DWOS (Dental Wings),
- CS 3600 – Carestream Dental,
- CEREC Omnicam – Sirona,
- …
If your scanner is not in this list, it must simply be able to provide files in standard STL or PLY formats, which is almost always the case. If you have any questions about the compatibility of your dental scanner with our tool, please contact us for more information.
Yes, our tool is compatible with all dental CAD software because the results produced are files in STL or PLY format. This means that you can use the digital models created with our tool in any dental CAD/CAM software, including :
- 3Shape,
- Exocad,
- Straumann – Dental Wings,
- Dentsply – Sirona,
- ZirkonZahn,
- …
If you have any questions about the compatibility of your software with our tool, please contact us for more information.
Of course, it is possible to share the digital models created with other users by exporting them in STL or PLY format and sharing them via a secure download link. You can use general file sharing solutions such as Dropbox or Wetransfer. or a platform linked to a dental CAD software like :
- 3Shape Communicate or Trios Share – 3Shape
- Dental Wings Connect – Dental Wings
- Dental share – Exocad
- AG.Live – Amann Girrach
- Carestream Dental Exchange – Carestream Dental
- Sirona Connect – Sirona
- Planmeca Romexis Cloud – Planmeca
- Straumann Connect – Straumann
- Vatech ezShare – Vatech
As EasyModel results can be integrated into your CAD/CAM software, they are as compatible with your dental 3D printer or dental machining software as if they had been produced by hand.

5°) Installation and start:
EasyModel is a cloud-based tool so there is nothing to install on your computer. Once registered, all you need is a web browser and your login credentials to get started.
We periodically hold webinars to present the possibilities of the tool. Contact us to know the dates of the next webinars.
Otherwise, once you are logged in, you will find in EasyModel the link to a learning page of the software that will guide you step by step to start. You will see that this software is very easy to use.
You just need time to understand the types of models you can generate and the meaning of the parameters. But these are the usual terms used by prosthetists and after about twenty models, you will be fully operational and in any case in less than half a day.
There’s no minimum system requirement: any computer that lets you browse the Internet is all you need to use EasyModel.
