Thanks to a mutual friend, I had the privilege of being one of the first laboratories in Italy to have access to the EasyModel solution. To be completely honest, though, I must confess something: despite recognizing its relevance and enormous potential right from the initial demonstration, I ended up ‘putting it aside’. I never dedicated the time to truly explore it and discover its full potential to implement it into my daily practice. I just left it there… until the day I was literally forced to use it.

I have a digital department entirely dedicated to file preparation and CAD design, run by two full-time technicians. One day, one of them got sick and had to stay home. The other technician looked at me and said: ‘Giovanni, I don’t think I can handle all this workload by myself…’. And that was the exact moment it ‘clicked’. We had EasyModel sitting there for months, just waiting to be used. Let’s try it.

All by himself, Luca managed to clear out in just 2 and a half hours the amount of work that would normally take 2 dedicated technicians 2 full days. It was undeniably the turning point. We had the solution right there at our fingertips, but we had never truly felt the need to step out of our comfort zone to explore it. As soon as we did, a whole new world of opportunities opened up before us.

Today, I am proud to say that the result of my vision and investment in automating our laboratory over the last 10 years has translated into extraordinary results. We went from 8 employees down to 4, roughly doubled our workload, and we did all this without overtime, without pulling all-nighters, and without spending weekends at the lab.

EasyModel was, without a shadow of a doubt, a true game changer in our digital workflow.
