What types of models can EasyModel produce?
EasyModel produces all types of orthodontic models: working models, study models, models for fixed restorations and splints, low-cut models for molar band, bleaching splints, bite trays, etc. We strive to continue developing new features to meet our customers’ needs, and more model types will be available in the coming months. Automatic 3D modeling for orthodontics?
EasyModel produces the main models used in orthodontic laboratories on a daily basis. We are always ready to listen to our customers’ needs, to modify parameters or create new types of models. We look forward to hearing from you.
Once the dental technician has chosen the model to be produced and defined the parameters, the 3D model is produced automatically from scan.
Tool compatibility
Is your tool compatible with all intraoral scanner models?
Yes, our tool is compatible with all wired and wireless intraoral scanner models, provided they can supply scans in STL or PLY format. In particular, you can use the scans most commonly used in France, such as:
Trios 3 or Trios 4 – 3Shape,
Dental Wings DWOS (Dental Wings),
CS 3600 – Carestream Dental,
CEREC Omnicam – Sirona,
…
If your scanner is not on this list, you simply need to be able to supply files in standard STL or PLY formats, which is almost always the case. If you have any questions about the compatibility of your dental scanner with our tool, please contact us for more information.
