What integration mode should I choose?
The default mode of access to EasyModel is to use it in the cloud with a web browser, which has the advantage of requiring no installation, and of benefiting from the advantage of parallelization, i.e. the ability to run several models of the same type (with the same configuration) at once, for a significant gain in calculation time.
However, there are 3 other modes of EasyModel integration that you can choose from, depending on the size of your laboratory, your organization and your information system:
- MiniFlow is a Windows-based program that lets you drag-and-drop your models into place. It’s easy to install and use , and makes downloading and launching EasyModel seamless. To use it, however, you need to define model templates (configurations) in EasyModel and rename the files to be processed with the label to be burned.
- TheAPI if your laboratory has an order management platform (proprietary or off-the-shelf) and you want to call up EasyModel with a single click (see below). The API is more complex to set up, but preserves your usual working environment.
- EasyFlow for those wishing to benefit from the advantages of AI to optimize order processing time. This highly efficient application is of course particularly suitable for laboratories that do not yet have a platform, but can also be integrated for those who already have one.
All these integration modes are available free of charge. Contact us for more details, and we’ll put you in touch with our technical team if necessary.
MiniFlow
MiniFlow is installed on local workstations in the laboratory, which may share a common hard disk (NAS). With a simple drag & drop into a directory, it launches the download of a scan named according to the label to be engraved, runs EasyModel with the configuration associated with the chosen directory, and then retrieves the STL file correctly mounted and engraved if it’s a model, or the orthosis if not. It’s a very simple integration to set up.
API
We also offer an API interface that lets you connect an external platform or application to EasyModel. With the API, all you need to do is enter the parameters scan, the label to be engraved and the EasyModel configuration to be applied, and you’ll be able to retrieve the STL file for the base model or orthosis you’ve created. Setting up an API is more complex, and requires the intervention of an IT specialist.
EasyFlow
EasyFlow is connected to our partner Lyra ETK’s Digilab application to continuously collect orders from scanner manufacturers’ clouds. Thanks to AI, EasyFlow learns to decode your practitioners’ orders and can be parameterized to determine which device to make, which label to engrave and which EasyModel configuration to use. EasyFlow installation and configuration is simple, and can be carried out remotely by our technical team.
